In the first place, Vice Governor Wang Cuifeng and the inspection team came to Anqing Foreign Language School and Anqing No. 1 Middle School successively to hear the reports on the comprehensive reform of the College Entrance Examination, and had in-depth exchanges with them on course selection, classroom teaching, teacher allocation, career planning and guidance. She pointed out that the comprehensive reform of the College Entrance Examination is a major systematic project, which affects thousands of families. Therefore, revelant departments at all levels should study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important statement about education in depth, and earnestly implement the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, and the Ministry of Education on the comprehensive College Entrance Exam reform. Besides, in accordance with the work requirements of the Provincial Party Committee and Government, we are supposed to further raise our political position, tighten our responsibilities, and ensure that reform tasks are delivered in a steady and orderly manner.

In the second place, Governor Wang Cuifeng stressed the need to do a good job of policy interpretation of the comprehensive reform of the College Entrance Examination and carry out the publicity of the new College Entranc Exam policy in an innovative way in that we should set up a hotline to answer questions for students, promptly respond to social concerns, and instruct students to ‘choose courses well’, lead schools to ‘arrange courses well’, and guide teachers to ‘manage classes well’. Additionally, we should have a comprehensive understanding of the progress of the comprehensive reform of the College Entrance Examination in all schools, pay more attention to the systematization, integrity and coordination of the education reform, strive to remove institutional barriers, coordinate the allocation of teachers and other resources, and continue to stimulate the vitality of running schools. Moreover, we are required to learn from the experience and practice of other provinces and cities in the comprehensive reform of the College Entrance Examination. Based on the current situation and with a long-term perspective, we will meticulously study the situation of the College Entrance Examination in the coming period, grasp the internal rules, strengthen results-oriented supervision in all aspects of the whole process and all links, and promptly prevent and resolve all kinds of obstacles, pain points and risks so as to ensure the steady and orderly progress of the new College Entrance examination. Other than that, we must adhere to the socialist direction of running schools, proceed the fundamental task of cultivating people through virtue, educate people for the Party and the country, and train builders and successors of the socialist cause who are well-developed morally, intellectually, physically, aesthetically, and working hard.

In the third place, Governor Wang Cuifeng went to the Sports Center of Anqing City, Xinhe Garden Branch of Mozi Lane Kindergarten in Yingjiang District and Anqing University for the Aged to inspect the promotion of the activities to warm the hearts of the people, such as happy fitness, secure child care and old age learning. She said the campaign to warm people's hearts is a pragmatic move that focuses on what people want and what development needs. Thus, we should adhere to a people-centered development philosophy, focus on areas of weakness and people's concerns, and take coordinated measures to ensure that all work arrangements are implemented in a detailed manner so that the people will see changes, see results, and reap benefits.

Last but not the least, Governor Wang Cuifeng stressed that we should focus on the problem of "childcare difficulties", make reasonable planning, continuously increase investment, expand the supply of childcare services, fully provide delayed kindergarten services, strengthen the construction of teachers, and constantly improve the level of preschool education and school quality so that parents can be at ease, warm and secure. Furthermore, focusing on the enrollment needs of the elderly, we should take multiple measures to expand the supply of education resources for the elderly, scientifically set courses, strengthen the guarantee of teachers, innovate teaching models, and improve the quality of education. In addition, we will build schools and teaching centers for the elderly in towns and villages to ensure that the elderly are able to learn and enjoy themselves, which requires us to conduct in-depth investigation and research on the concerns of the people. Also, we will solicit opinions widely and truly build fitness facilities where people need them. In the meantime, we will establish a sound mechanism for the maintenance, management, updating and upgrading of fitness facilities, strengthen scientific fitness guidance, and enrich fitness events for the people to keep them happy.
